Set Up CTFO Campaign in TCP

It is quite easy to set up an ad campaign in TCP.

(Note: These pages are a work-in-progress. Please let me know if anything was left out or needs to be changed.)

If your TCP pages don’t seem to display as they should, I recommend you use Google Chrome when accessing your TCP back office.

Another tip is to open a blank text file in Notepad to use as a scratchpad to store some links you will be needing as you set up your pages and emails in the next few steps.

For example, you will need the URLs for the CTFO pages you are going to advertise. Log in to your CTFO back office and click on the LINKS icon. Copy the links for the page or pages you want to promote and paste them onto your Notepad text file.

BEFORE you begin setting up your, you should decide if you want to use rotators or not. My suggestion is YES, even if right now you don’t see a need for it. Read thru the next section before making up your mind.

Rotators. Do you want to use them?

What if, after you have posted the link to your lead capture page in numerous locations, you decide you don’t want to use that capture page any longer? Or, you create a different capture page that you like better? You can’t pull back all of your ads; your original links are all over the internet.

You would not have this problem if the link you used in your ads was a link for a rotator?

Why? A rotator allows you the flexibility of adding and removing links from the rotator whenever you wish, without impacting previously posted advertising.

For this reason, even if you begin with just one lead capture page, I recommend you put the link for that one and only capture page into a rotator, and you use the link for the rotator in all of your ads.

Another place for a rotator is on your bridge page. Instead of redirecting prospects to YOUR affiliate link to join under you, redirect the prospect to your rotator for affiliate links, even if for the moment you only have one link in the rotator. This gives you flexibility to:

  • Include affiliate links of some of your downline members to help them get referrals.
  • Promote various URLs on your Links page.
  • As with the links for capture pages, you can add and remove links when you wish without having to modify the link on lead capture pages.

Create your rotators

Log in to your TCP back office, then click on Link Rotator in the TCP Marketing Suite section.

Click on the blue button to Add a rotator for your CTFO lead capture pages.

  • Enter a descriptive Label, i.e., CTFO LCPs.
  • Enter a Unique Name, i.e., CTFO-LCPs. This name is unique for ALL of TCP, not just unique for your account.
  • Paste a URL in the box.
  • If you are ready to add more than one URL, click on the green button with Add URL and add them; otherwise, click on Save.

Click on the blue button to Add another rotator for the affiliate links.

  • Enter a descriptive Label, i.e., CTFO Affiliate Links.
  • Enter a Unique Name, i.e., CTFOaffs. This name is unique for ALL of TCP, not just unique for your account.
  • Paste an affiliate link URL in the box.
  • If you are ready to add more than one URL, click on the green button with Add URL and add them; otherwise, click on Save.

Click on Back to List.

If you do not see both of the rotators, REFRESH the browser.

For each of the rotators, click on Get Link and paste the two rotator links onto your Notepad text file.

I hope you updated your information on your TCP Profile screen because, as I mentioned before, some of that info will be auto-populated here in these autoresponder emails thru the use of Tags. To see what I am talking about, click on the Edit button on the right-hand side of the screen for any of the emails.

For example:

  • {my_email} will be replaced with YOUR email address.
  • {firstname} will be replaced with the prospect’s first name.
  • {my_firstName} and {my_lastName} will be replaced with YOUR first and last names.
  • {my_skype} will be replaced with YOUR Skype ID.

You can simply highlight and Delete my photo OR replace it with one of your own photos.

You are welcome to edit these emails to make them sound like they are coming from YOU.

Set up the lead capture pages

Go to TCP Marketing Suite on the menu on the left-hand side of your TCP home page, and RIGHT CLICK on Landing Page Builder to Open in a new tab.

At the bottom of the screen, you should see 3 boxes containing “Share Code”, “Preview page” and “Copy Page”.

One by one, Copy each of the share codes for each of the two LCPs and Paste them into the Share Code box, then click on Copy Page. After you have COPIED both of them, REFRESH the browser screen and you should see copies of the pages on your screen.

                                    Share Code                   Page Name

    LCP 1                        11895407                      CTFO_LCP1

    LCP 2                        5c1a6fc3                       CTFO_LCP2

Set up Lead Capture Page 1

EVERYTHING on these pages can be edited, from the text to the colors to the images, including the video. For now, let’s keep it simple and get you set up and getting signups. Later, you can do creative tweaking to your pages.

Click on the EDIT button for the CTFO_LCP1 page.

  • In the box for Redirect URL, paste in the link for YOUR rotator for CTFO affiliate links, i.e.,  http://theconversionpros.com/sr/CTFOaffLinks
  • Form Settings. Recommend not choosing one that asks for more than just name, email address and phone number.

When you ask for too much info, people have the tendency of not providing anything. In other words, a lost prospect.

  • Mail Campaign. Click on the down arrow and choose the campaign name for your series of emails for CTFO PROSPECTS.
  • When done, click on Save at the top of the screen to save your first lead capture page.

Set up Lead Capture Page 2

Again, EVERYTHING on these pages can be edited, from the text to the colors to the images, including the video. For now, let’s keep it simple and get you set up and getting signups. Later, you can do creative tweaking to your pages.

Click on the EDIT button for the CTFO_LCP2 page.

  • Mail Campaign. Click on the down arrow and choose the campaign name for your series of emails for CTFO PROSPECTS.
  • Hold your cursor over the lines in the form (Full Name, Email, and Phone Number), then click on Edit Content.
  • In the box for Redirect URL, paste in the link for your rotator for CTFO affiliate links, i.e.,  http://theconversionpros.com/sr/CTFOaffLinks

If you want to change the form, I recommend you use the simpler formats, like the one to the left (only asks for name and email address) or the one in the center (only asks for name, email and phone). When you ask for too much info, people have the tendency of not providing anything. In other words, a lost prospect.

  • When done, click on Save at the top of the screen to save your second lead capture page.
  • In the menu at the left-hand side of the screen, click on Save Lander to save your edits.

Close the two lead capture pages and you should be back at the overall list of landing pages.

For each of the capture pages, click on Get Link and paste them onto your Notepad text file. Then go to your rotator for the CTFO LCPs, and add these two links to your rotator for CTFO LCPs.

TEST!!!

BEFORE you begin using these messages and pages, TEST THEM!

  • Click on the link for the rotator for your LCPs. (Click a couple of times to see that both LCPs are seen in the rotator.)
  • Review each page, looking for errors in spelling, especially your name, email address, Skype ID, phone number, etc.
  • Enter your name and email address on the form on the lead capture page, and click on the button to see that it takes you the registration page for one of the affiliate’s links in the rotator.
  • Also, check to see that you receive the first email in the series.
  • Click on links in each email to be sure you go to wherever you should be taken.

Once you are sure everything is working as it should be, THEN you can begin advertising the link for your rotator.

Good luck!
